The Canyon Dress and Top is a breezy, versatile pattern designed to make you feel comfortable and cute as you swish through the world. It features a band collar and a V-neckline finished with a placket. There is gathering along the front and back yoke seams, giving it a nice amount of ease. The pattern includes options for long sleeves finished at the wrist with elastic, or short sleeves that hit mid bicep. This is a pull-on pattern with no zippers or buttons. The dress view features a comfortable elastic waistband and a tiered skirt with roomy pockets. Pair it with your favourite sweater on an evening stroll or dress it up and wear it on a fancy date!

Suggested fabrics: Light to mid weight woven fabrics. Fabrics with a bit of drape will give you more of a dressy look, while crisp fabric will give you a classic sundress vibe. Rayon challis, silk, lawn, voile, and linen are all great fabrics for this garment.
Fabric requirements: You may need to purchase extra yardage if your fabric has a heavy nap, is directional, striped, or has an obvious repeat.
